July feels like a turning point. After years of quietly building this story, I’m finally putting the work directly into your hands.

I’ve opened a Gumroad space under MakedaSoul where I’ll be releasing the adult verse novel in chapter bundles. This is early access to the deeper, more mature retelling I’ve been writing — the one with real teeth and soul.

Here’s what’s coming:

•  Part One: The Queen’s Gambit (Chapters 1–7) — Releases July 15

•  Part Two: The King’s Gambit (Chapters 8–14) — Releases July 19

•  Part Three: The Prince’s Gambit (Chapters 14–22) — Releases after Mercury goes direct on July 23

This doesn’t mean I’ve stopped querying — far from it. But I’m also no longer waiting. I’ve poured everything into these chapters, and I’m ready for the story to start living in the world.

I also have a brand new song that hasn’t been released anywhere else yet. Newsletter subscribers will be the first to hear a snippet.
