By day, I am a lawyer and educator with degrees from Wayne State University Law School and the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands (where I even taught Dutch Criminal Law and Procedure—in Dutch!). But my true passion lives where storytelling meets the stars. As an astrologer and writer, I weave ancient legends into fresh, vibrant tales for young readers. My debut picture book, Makeda: The Soul of Sheba, celebrates themes of inner strength and destiny, inspiring children to embrace their potential. Beyond the page, I am on a mission to bring Makeda’s story to screens as the animated epic adventure it deserves.
